Meet and greet
Katherine Council
The Katherine Council is inviting people to head out to the Hot Springs Top Park (near the Pop Rocket Cafe) for a meet and greet session with the new council. A Carer Connection morning tea will be held at the Coffee Club Cafe on November 3. Pop in for a coffee and cake between 10 am and noon. Katherine Community Markets is gearing up for its annual two-day Christmas market to be held towards the end of November. There will be food, entertainment and lots of fabulous stalls to choose from in air-conditioned comfort as you tick off those items on your Christmas list. Saturday and Sunday, November 20 and 21. Laksa festival
Darwin visit
For the third year, laksa will take over Darwin for the month of November. Lovers of the soupy deliciousness having the chance to follow the trail, taste testing laksas from markets stalls, eateries and restaurants around the city. The big day will be November 28, when the Golden Bowl for the best Laksa in the Top End will be awarded. Various.
