OTHER NEWS:
Katherine High School principal Nick Lovering said it was an honour to celebrate the achievements of the Year 12 cohort who showed up each day for school with a determined and resilient attitude.
"This is the time for our students to chase their dreams but also take stock and think about what they want to do, whether it's pursuing further study, finding a job, or simply using this time to travel," Mr Lovering said.
"Time might seem to go quickly, but it's equally important to take it slow, live in the moment, and uncover their purpose.
"These students should be incredibly proud of themselves, and I wish them all the best with their next adventure."
The 47 students will now strike out to explore a wide range of career paths, including marine biology, baking, nutrition therapy, architecture, and forensic science.
Katherine High School Year 12 coordinator Jamyma Kalamaras said the most impressive thing about the class of 2021 is their kindness and compassion for other people.
"They really are the kind of people that we want to lead our future," she said.
