A Katherine man with COVID-19 has stabilised in ICU with the NT recording zero new cases for the second day in a row.

According to a statement from NT Health released on Sunday, a man in his 50s from Katherine who was taken to the ICU in the Royal Darwin Hospital the day before is in a stable condition.
There were zero new cases recorded in the NT on Sunday for the second day in a row.
"More than 1690 COVID-19 tests were processed across the NT yesterday," the statement reads.
"It is critical that anyone in the Territory who has symptoms get tested for COVID-19 immediately to help prevent the spread of the virus."
Katherine remains on track to be released from lockout on Tuesday, according to NT Health.
