A surfer had a close encounter with a 1.7 metre grey nurse shark which has been captured on drone footage.
The video shows the shark swimming close by, just within reach of the surfer who remains oblivious of the animal.
The Bondi Beach encounter was also captured on Go Pro footage which shows the shark approaching the surfer's foot.
The footage is from videographer Jason Iggledon who operates Drone Shark App social media accounts.
Mr Iggledon told Yahoo News that the shark had been in the area for around 5 years and was called Nelly.
In the video, Mr Iggledon can be heard saying "Watch your foot, mate," as the shark swims past the surfer's leg.

"She's got no interest in feet even," Mr Iggledon says in the video.

More footage shows the shark swimming along, completely uninterested in the other surfers paddling in the ocean.
"This is nuts peoples. You can see Nelly has just got no interest in humans just whatsoever."
"Just cruising along the beach."
"You almost can touch Nelly."
Mr Iggledon also captured drone footage of a surfer nearly crashing into the shark as he rides a wave back to the beach.
