The local production will bring the Katherine Museum to life with colour and sound from a period spanning from the 1920s to today.
Event organiser Sue Jones said she was anticipating a big crowd keen to take a trip back down memory lane.
“Red Cross have supplied outfits and some local ladies have donated dresses,” she said.
“It will show off fashions through time and every time, there will be a performance from the era with music especially from that period.
“Basically, it’s a walk through time and a blast from the past.”
Ms Jones said the family-friendly event would provide entertainment for all ages, from the younger generation to those members of the community who wanted to show off how it was done “back in the day”.
“I have invited some seniors because it will be nice for them to have a bit of a look back and relive a few memories with the songs and so forth,” Ms Jones said.
With food available and a bar operating, Ms Jones said a courtesy bus had been organised to pick up and drop off patrons from set locations around Katherine.
Tickets cost $20 and for more information, or to book a spot on the courtesy bus, call Ms Jones on 8972 3830.
