Eastside will go into the Nitmiluk Oval clash as the short-priced favourite to collect the flag but will have to watch the red-hot Camels outfit, which will start the game on the back of six consecutive victories at the right end of the season.
After a shaky start to the season, the Camels have taken the hard road through to the grand final but confidence in the team is high after it defeated the Ngukurr Bulldogs - the team Eastside beat to secure the Nitmiluk Tours Premiership Cup in 2013 - in a thrilling encounter last weekend.
The match-up between Marcus Hamilton and Tom Gleeson in the middle of the ground will be crucial, along with the ruck duel between Jack Farington and Peter Jackson.
Eastside coach Greg Bain said his players were “wary” ahead of the decider.
“They’re pretty confident but they’ve seen how the Camels have been playing,” he said.
Camels coach Craig Blair praised his team for turning its season around and said he believed the match would be a thriller.
Gates open at 1pm, with food and drinks available.
The first bounce will be at 6pm.
