The 18-year-old Katherine local has been selected for the under-19 Northern Territory national netball team and will compete in Sydney from April 11-20 against the top-shelf players from across the country.
It is no mean feat to be selected, with Dack successfully gaining a coveted spot on the team after enduring a three-stage selection process.
“It was a pretty good feeling to be selected,” the talented goal attack and goal shooter said.
“No one has been selected from Katherine for awhile, so it’s really exciting.”
Now that she has been named in the NT line-up, Dack spends each weekend in Darwin training with her teammates, as well as two days per week locally with Katherine Netball Association president Emma Ferguson.
