The event has raised more than $26,000 since it began six years ago.
Prior to the event, host Bess Hart went around to local businesses to ask for donations for the auction and said it was overwhelming how generous the community had been.
“People gave so generously; it was a really lovely day,” she said.
“Everybody was happy to donate for the morning tea.”
On the day, Mrs Hart said Katherinites and visitors had turned out in force with their wallets to buy a multiple of edible and craft items for sale.
“The collection tins were just filled with $5, $10 and $20 notes,” she said.
“It really was wonderful to see.”
The traditional billy tea was as popular as ever, with people lining up to grab their cup for a gold coin donation, before they headed over to receive their complimentary slice of cake, or decadent scone with jam and cream.
A number of volunteers helped out to ensure the morning tea ran smoothly, including Stewart Vowels as the guest auctioneer.
