The first and only game for Katherine Softball at the weekend was held between Rockers and Rebels. The Rebels were up to bat first but it was the Rockers that held them out.

Then it was Rockers turn, Rockers responded with eight runs batted in. A three base hit to Melanie Delcacouer and a two base hit from Keomi Ross.
At the top of the second innings, Rebels fought back hard and managed to bring in two runs. Rebels did well to hold Rockers from only scoring one run in. At the top of the third innings Rebels scored one run to a safe hit from Prisandra Barnes.
Rockers replied with another eight runs batted in thanks to Hayley Ross in field home run. At the top of the forth innings, Rebels came back and scored three runs in with a two base hit from Prisandra Barnes. At the bottom of the fourth innings the Rebels kept the Rockers scoreless. At the top of the fifth innings Rebels managed to score one run in. Time and game was called leaving the final score to Rockers 17 – 7 mercy rule.
