Three fires were set in less than a week at a Katherine South home.
The alleged arsonist struck the Mott Crescent home on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Detective Sergeant Ian Young said the fire early on Saturday morning. caused substantial damage to a small unit attached to the residence.
The residence was also the subject of another suspicious fire in the early hours of last Wednesday morning, and a grass fire the day before.
A police spokesman today said the investigation was continuing.
