A 68-year-old man is recovering in Katherine Hospital after he had a seizure on a boat in Nitmiluk Gorge.

The medical emergency happened at around 4pm yesterday between the first and second gorge.
Bystanders initiated treatment and with the help of Rangers the man was taken to the Nitmiluk boat ramp where he was transferred into the care of St John Ambulance paramedics.
Paramedics continued to treat the man on the way to Katherine Hospital where he arrived in a stable condition.
