Saturday's games in Katherine Softball competition kicked off with Kalano Bombers and Arnhem Crows.

Kalano batted first and went to work and scored five runs with safe hits all around including one to Abigail Bowden.
Arnhem responded in their first bat and scored six runs with a safe hit to Mavis Jumbirri.
In the second inning Kalano was unable to score as Arnhem tightened up their fielding.
Arnhem then went and scored four more runs.
In the top of the third inning Kalano batted in four runs but time had ran out and the scores reverted back giving Arnhem Crows the win.
Final scores: Arnhem Crows 10 to Kalano Bombers 5.
Best on ground for Arnhem Crows was Lyn Trindle, Mavis Jumbirri and Anne Marie Lee while for Kalano Rickanne Shark, Lisa Andrews and Tyronia Shark.
The second game was between Wanderers and Rebels. Wanderers batted first and with a safe hit to Keely AhChin brought in two runs.
Rebels first turn at bat saw them bring in seven runs with a massive home run to Georgia Armitage with loaded bases.
In the second inning both team tighten up their fielding and kept each other from scoring.
In the third inning Wanderers went in and scored four runs with safe batting including a safe hit to Cheryl Hayes.
In the bottom of the third inning Wanderers strong fielding again kept Rebels from scoring. in the fourth and final inning Wanderers was unable to score and in turn Rebels went in and scored two more runs with a two base hit to Kristy Stevenson giving Rebels the win.
Final scores: Rebels 9 to Wanderers 6.
Best on ground for Rebels was Georgia Armitage, Deb Ogilvie and Kristy Stevenson and for Wanderers Cheryl Hayes, Keely Ahchin and Anne Manfong.
The final game of the day was between Rockers dominated from the kick of scoring 14 runs in their first bat while Tindal scored 2.
Rockers then went and scored a further 14 runs while Tindal scored 1 more run.
Final scores: Rockers 28 to Tindal 3.
Best on ground for Rockers was Haylee Ross, Shakita Lindner and Christine Kopp while for Tindal Cara Howes, Di Littler and Stephanie Moun.
This weekend's games kick off with Arnhem Crows and Rebels at 10am, followed by Wanderers and Rockers at 11.40am with the final game between Kalano and Tindal at 1.20pm.
