It was still a good season for the exciting Beswick Bears which had a last kick win over the more fancied Katherine South Crocs in their final to reach the preliminary final.
The Crocs led all day until a 50 metre goal in the final minute saw the Bears win by two points and book a place in theweekend’s preliminary final against Eastside Blues.
