What started as a hobby from the love of working with wood became an award winning business which is proud to be Katherine based.
Peter Farnden had always loved woodwork so it made sense to develop his creativity into a frame making business.
This dream lead to the opening of Gallop Thru Time Framing and Gallery in 1994 by Peter and his wife Cathy.
"After only six months of operation, Peter decided to enter a national framing competition to test his skills and was delighted to win an award," Cathy said.
According to the pair, framing is an art itself requiring a good sense of imagination and colour.
But it's not just framing - the business has a range of unique giftware and a gallery of stunning artworks.
The couple pride themselves in specialising in all facets of creativity, ensuring client satisfaction and value for money.
With 25 years experience they are able to offer expert advice and imaginative framing techniques.
The business has grown in that time and Peter and Cathy are planing a retirement in the near future with plans to sell the framing and giftware side only.
The range of services offered by Gallop Thru Time include the restoration and cleaning of canvas and a computerised mat cutting service.

Gallop Thru Time is a friendly and helpful service and Peter and Cathy are delighted to support local business to ensure the money stays in town.
