An assault happened in broad daylight at a popular Katherine park a few days ago, police have claimed.

While arrests have been made over the alleged aggravated assault, police are asking if anyone saw anything which may help with the prosecution.
Anyone who filmed the incident on their phone would also be able to help.
The alleged assault happened at Rundle Park, opposite the showgrounds and the Victoria Highway, last Friday, March 13.
It was alleged at have happened at about 4.15pm.
Police were called to the park after receiving a report of an assault between a man and woman.
"Police arrived on scene and arrested the 34-year-old male for the alleged assault," a police spokeswoman said.
The 37-year-old female victim was later treated at the Katherine District Hospital.
