About 6pm yesterday, police attended a single vehicle crash about 82km west of Maningrida in west Arnhem.
Initial reports suggest the vehicle had left the road and hit a tree.
Emergency service crews attended however, sadly a 7-year-old girl died at the scene.
Two woman, aged 26 and 42, and a 5-year-old child were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.
Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are travelling to the location this morning to determine the circumstances of the crash.
Around midnight, police attended a single vehicle crash approximately 160km west of Alice Springs.
Police believe the driver of the vehicle had lost control on a bend in the road.
A 39-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
Reports will be prepared for the coroner.
