Three men have been charged over the bust police estimate was worth about $2 million.
The cannabis arrived in five barrels sent from Adelaide to Darwin, police allege.
"It's the largest seizure of its type in the Territory," Detective Superintendent Kerry Hoskins from the drug and organised crime division said.
Police said they tracked the shipment to a house in Humpty Doo.
More barrels of cannabis were found at a home in Berry Springs as well.
Because of the pandemic border restrictions, drug traffickers were forced to use freight or the mail to send drugs into the Territory, police said.
Twelve firearms and $40,000 cash was also seized during the raids, police allege.
The cannabis was packed in plastic bags inside the barrels, police claimed.
Three men were arrested and detained as a result of the search warrants.
