A woman, aged 32, who arrived on a repatriation flight from London on Sunday has tested positive for COVID-19 while in quarantine at Howard Springs.
The woman tested negative upon arrival but has since tested positive after being a close contact of a previously reported case, the NT Government stated today.
The woman has mild symptoms and remains under the care of the AUSMAT team at the Centre for National Resilience.
The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 42.
All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.
