Two adorable Katherine newborns pulled at the heart strings of their families today.
Some will spend Valentine’s Day swooning over a candlelit dinner.
Others were sipping one milkshake with two straws.
But these families are totally consumed with the love of their first children.
Saffron Booth and Jordan Smiler welcomed their first bub Latrelle Smiler just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 13.
Latrelle was born at 2.8kg.
A big group of his family converged on the Katherine maternity ward today to show their love.
Down the hall, Mandy Ferguson was enjoying precious time with her new baby girl Marlika Roper-Brown.
Ms Ferguson and her partner Adrian Roper-Brown welcomed Marlika into the world on January 30.
She was born at 1.8kg, and must stay in hospital until she puts on a bit more weight.
Marlika’s grandmother Charmaine Ryan came up from South Australia to spend time with the new bub.
