“This is our second year running this fantastic event,” library program coordinator Ms Rajni Bala said.
“We are very excited to announce, this year we are continuing with the lucky door prizes from the generosity of the local businesses – many thanks to Terrace Emporium, Katherine Cinema, Top News and the YMCA.”
This fun night can help to bring youth together - an opportunity for young Territorians to express ideas, raise concerns, get to know each other, encourage youth to be part of our community and a great way to make new friends.
A National Youth Week brochure outlining all the activities is available at the Civic Centre, Katherine Visitor Information Centre and the Katherine Public Library.
Follow the Katherine Public Library’s Facebook page for updates or giving us your feedback.
This is the part 1 of 6 “It’s Your Library’’ series.
Look out for other events and the library extending hours starting in May.
