A self-described dominatrix has been found guilty of assaulting another woman after losing her "sense of decorum" at an adult event in Adelaide.
Morgan Gabrielle Jaya Cox, 46, who uses the name Mistress Gabrielle in her performances, was found to have punched and placed Tracie Latham, known as Dragon Princess, in a headlock at the Kink Adelaide event in 2016.
In his verdict on Wednesday, magistrate Brett Dixon said he was impressed with the evidence against Cox and described defence witnesses as unconvincing.
"I find that the defendant became so annoyed with Dragon Princess that she lost her sense of decorum," he said.
"In an impulsive and spontaneous act (she) grabbed at the hair of Dragon Princess with her right hand, pulled her towards her and then punched her about four times in an uppercut movement."
Cox denied the assault and said her alleged victim had harassed her throughout the event, where Cox had been scheduled to perform.
Ms Latham was working as a manager at the festival which includes demonstrations of various activities and offers bondage equipment and other items for sale.
Outside Adelaide Magistrates Court, Cox said he intended to appeal against the verdict and claimed to have been targeted by authorities "because I'm beautiful, young and a dominatrix".
Her case will return to court on Monday for sentencing submissions.
