We appreciate you have stuck with us.
We can report that many readers have signed up to the 30-day free trial to maintain their access to the latest news for just $2 a week.
Hundreds of readers have also already signed up for the free newsletter with a selection of the biggest stories which is emailed each Friday morning.
The link to that free service is also at the bottom of this update.
As announced back in August, the new subscription offer will include around-the-clock digital access to all of the local news, sport and opinion published by Katherine Times, as well as essential community information and the latest national news and sport, plus lifestyle, health and travel advice.
We also have a Katherine-only TV guide available for the first time online.
Subscribers will also get access to digital replicas of each week’s print edition of Katherine Times, so they can read every page of the newspaper on their tablet or desktop.
Readers have also told us they reckon that E-edition is pretty nifty.
Katherine Times’ readers who want to subscribe can opt to pay monthly and get the first 30 days of access for free. Or they can pay for an annual subscription, receive 20 per cent off plus the first month of access for free.
You will see the subscriptions prompt after you have accessed your five free articles per month.
If you have any problems, we have a team of customer service agents for digital subscriptions:

The introduction of a local news subscription allows audiences to choose the way they wanted to support Katherine Times to continue providing its valued journalism and community information.
As our audience increasingly reads our local journalism online via their smartphones and tablets, we need to make sure we can continue to deliver the coverage our community expects and deserves.
Some content at our website will remain open to all visitors including classified advertisements, such as birth and funeral notices, and recommended articles featuring local businesses.
Be assured the website changes will not affect our much loved printed version of Katherine Times, which will continue to be published each Wednesday.
While you're with us, you can now receive updates straight to your inbox each Friday at 6am from the Katherine Times. To make sure you're up to date with all the news, sign up here.
