Elders Real Estate has listed the large Katherine business for sale for $2.75m walk in walk out.
The popular Barrel and Cruise Restaurant is part of the 62-room motel complex which sprawls about more than a hectare and overlooks the Katherine River.
There is not still no word from the NT Government on what it intends to do with the neighbouring Sports and Recreation Club in Giles Street.
Accommodation in Katherine has been a premium in recent years particularly with the ongoing upgrades at the Tindal RAAF Base.
The bolted together 106-room Victoria Village recently opened its doors on the Victoria Highway, catering mainly “for workers”, it’s website says.
The village features a gymnasium, and an on-site tavern.
