Kay Moncrief says her regular morning walks along Florina Road have become a garbage-fest.
Ms Moncrief says she is a regular visitor to Katherine and warns the amount of roadside litter is getting worse.
She said in a half kilometre stretch on Florina Road her haul included five beer bottles, 15 beer cans, sundry soft drink and coffee receptacles, six cigarette packs and an empty alcohol bottle.
"This wanton littering is inexplicable and I encourage all councils in the NT to re-implement warning signs with meaningful fines, and a reward for those who report the culprits," she said.
