Darwin and Alice Springs have been in lockdown this week, with Katherine one of the major Territory hubs outside of that zone and dealing with an increase in numbers in town as people are locked out from other centres.
NT Health said people in Katherine and the surrounding regions had been seeking to get the vaccine, especially since the outbreak.
"Uptake of the vaccine in the Katherine township has been strong and uptake in the Katherine region, including Aboriginal communities, has been increasing steadily," a spokesperson said.
"Online bookings peaked earlier this week.
"Wurli Wurli[njang Health Service], Katherine West [Health Board] and Sunrise [Health Service] are administering vaccines through their health centres."

NT Health said across the Territory the first dose administered for the COVID-19 vaccine sat at 35.8 per cent, while the second dose was at 15.8 per cent.
The figures for NT Health Remote were 29 per cent for the first dose and 11 per cent for the second dose.
NT Health are urging people throughout the Territory to stay away from others and get tested for COVID-19 if they have symptoms, while also asking people wash their hands, use hand sanitiser regularly and maintain a physical distance of 1.5 metres where possible.
Territorians can book an appointment to get their COVID-19 vaccine online at coronavirus.nt.gov.au, which also provides up-to-date advice.
NT Health is asking for people outside the lockdown zones, such as in Katherine, to remain vigilant.
"We encourage people in the Katherine region to use the check-in system when visiting a premise or event," the spokesperson said.
