The SuperAgers classes run by Sharon Kelly are designed specifically for the over 50 aged group and are designed to be done at home (as well as face to face where possible).
Sharon is an amazing SuperAger herself and although she has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, she is passionate about getting fitness 'newbies' up and running.
Her classes are designed to improve fitness, but also mobility, flexibility, balance and body confidence as we age.
OTHER NEWS:
SuperAgers want to reach up into the top cupboard or supermarket shelf as long as possible, lift the grandchildren up for a cuddle and move around their homes and neighbourhoods safely.
Also happening this week, is the Adelaide River Fiesta on August 13
Everyone is encouraged to take with them their own shade in the form of a bright and beautiful sombrero (hat) and enjoy socialising with seniors from Darwin and Darwin Rural areas.
Lunch is provided with a Mexican flavour!
The fiesta is being held at the Adelaide River Show Society Course Pavillion and entertainment is also being provided by seniors' contemporary dance group, The Grey Panthers (Los Panteras Grise!).
Tickets still available - please call Gil on 8972 2201. Price per person is $20 for bus transport and food.
The bus leaves at 8am from the Cinema carpark.
