NT Chief Health Officer Hugh Heggie announced on Thursday that the Darwin Festival, which began on August 5 and has been running all month, will be able to proceed for its final weekend.
There will be, however, some restrictions for punters including the wearing of masks.
"We cannot wait to spend one last weekend together under the festoons and jellyfish, but please note, you will be required to wear a mask at Festival Park and remain seated while eating and drinking. The same applies to any venue hosting Festival events," Darwin Festival said in a Facebook post.
"These extra requirements are in addition to those measures already in place within our approved COVID safety plan.

"We realise how fortunate we are to be in this position and thank everyone in Darwin for doing their part to get us here."
Among the lineup for the coming days is the rescheduled show of Constantina Bush's (aka Kamahi Djordon King) ride the Night Train tour on Sunday night.
Also on the line-up is NT stand-up comedian Amy Hetherington and Cabaret Artist Reuben Kaye on Friday night.
Yolngu surf-rock band King Stingray is playing on Saturday night and NT circus company Gravity & Other Myths will perform their show The Pulse on Sunday.
A number of exhibitions will also continue across the weekend including the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards at the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT and Murrniny at the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art.
