During Seniors Month we are told by event organisers all about the many activities for seniors in the Katherine region, but we have a feeling there is a lot more going on outside of August that we don't know about.
Submitting an event or activity to the calendar is an easy, free way to generate a piece of online promotional material that can be found by Google users and anyone new to town.
OTHER NEWS:
You can list one- off events and weekly activities.
You can add details of your activity including photographs, logo and booking information.
An online event listing not only helps promote awareness of what's on in Katherine to locals, but when we are asked 'what's on in Katherine?' in the Darwin head office, we know too and can pass that information on to people.
You can also write and tell us about your activities, projects and programs and we'll try to cover it here in the column or in the NT Seniors Voice publication, which helps generates awareness of news, initiatives and activities from across the Northern Territory.
COTA NT has finished its last expo for the year in Alice Springs.
And although planning for events and activities isn't as straightforward as it used to be, COTA NT is planning to return to Katherine early in 2022 for another Katherine Seniors Expo.
If we know who's out there in Katherine, you can be sure that an invitation to attend as either exhibitor, performer or patron will be extended.
