But they were only dressed weirdly.
And it was all in a good cause.
Members of the Variety Bryden Lawyers B to B bash thundered through Katherine late yesterday and had breakfast at the Clyde Fenton Primary School this morning.
Bash members tucked into almost 300 meals at the Katherine Country Club last night as well.
Heading today for Kakadu, we even spied “Love is in the Air” pop singer John Paul Young among their ranks.
There were lots of handouts for the kids and many, many outrageous and colourful outfits – and cars.
Bash members presented bubblers to the school worth $3000 as well as signed rugby jumpers to be raffled, lots of sports equipment and sundries.
As if Katherine’s Cup eve couldn’t get any bigger.
