Maddens Lawyers from Victoria will be in town today meeting with those who have signed and others who may want to.
Hundreds have already signed up for Shine Lawyers proposed class action against Defence.
Combined, the Katherine case is expected to the biggest of any of those proposed so far, including Williamtown and Oakey.
Maddens Lawyers class action principal Brendan Pendergast will be in Katherine today to meet with with individuals and small groups impacted by the PFAS contamination to discuss furthering their claims for compensation.
A trial date of late 2019 has been set down for class actions over firefighting contamination that has tainted hundreds of properties surrounding Defence bases at Williamtown and Oakey.
In-house Commonwealth solicitors are defending the Williamtown action, while the government has enlisted King & Wood Mallesons to defend Oakey.
