For the third time, Katherine Town Council has partnered with Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre to provide free entertainment as part of the Festivals of the Dry.
Audiences will be treated to an innovative outdoor circus performance - so pack a picnic and a rug to get comfy.
The internationally touring circus is bringing their intriguing acts to outback Australia to showcase Precarious.
Circus Oz artistic director, Rob Tannion has joined forces with independent director, Kate Fryer, to craft the show.
Brought together by their shared love of storytelling in recognisable, yet surreal worlds, Tannion and Fryer continue to push circus innovation.
"We are in precarious times environmentally. How much more can our ecosystem take? Are we approaching the tipping point? Can humanity restore the natural balance before it is too late?" Tannion and Fryer said.
In the non-stop spectacle of acrobatic mayhem for audiences of all ages, the circus revitalises a traditional artform in a uniquely Australian way.
Since its foundation in 1978, Circus Oz has influenced the development of circus arts around the world.
