Tourism NT's web series Location Scouts was selected from more than 8,000 international entries.
The only Australian entry shortlisted in its category, it is up against entries from Italy, Denmark and South Korea.
Tourism NT executive general manager of marketing Tony Quarmby said the nomination points to the success of incorporating the experiences, locations and stunning landscapes of the Territory into an entertaining content series.
"We're thrilled Location Scouts has been nominated for Webfest Berlin. The series is a true showcase of some of the Territory's most iconic destinations," Mr Quarmby said.
"Of the thousands of entries into the festival, Location Scouts is standing on its own merits against international contenders and we're enormously proud.
"To top it all off, Webfest Berlin provides just another opportunity to share the amazing Northern Territory, its landscapes, culture and cheeky sense of humour with audiences around the world."
Created by the award-winning Van Vuuren Brothers, the web series is set in the Northern Territory and is a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at Australian romantic-comedy Top End Wedding.
The six-part comedy series follows the story of fictional veteran location scout, Steve Grogan and his millennial off-sider Morgan, as they roam the Top End in search for the ultimate NT locations for the Top End Wedding movie.
Webfest Berlin was the first international festival in Germany dedicated to recognising and advancing short digital series from around the world.
The festival takes place from September 12-14, 2019.
