Hundreds of entries have been submitted by Katherine's creatives, bakers, and gardeners, and have carefully been put on display by dedicated volunteers.
The Katherine Times managed to catch up with a few of the winners today, but check back here often as we add to the list.

Giant Pumpkin Competition
Heather Dingle
Weighing in at 91kg, this pumpkin was an easy winner.
But it wasn't all excitement, as experienced gardener Heather Dingle tended to the plant from a seed planted at Christmas.
Just one month ago, the pumpkin, already a decent size, was touch and go.
"We were very worried for a little while," she said.
"We had it on life support for a good while and we were surprised it pulled through."
For five years running, Mrs Dingle has entered, or attempted to enter, a pumpkin.
Each year, something has gotten in the way of a win - from an animal attack to a larger pumpkin entry.
"I really put my mind to it this year, it is something I have wanted for a while now."
"We saw it explode with growth about half way through and I really had to contain my excitement."
Winning Plant
Sue Moran
The poor wet season just passed posed additional difficulties for Sue Moran as she tended to her plants set to be entered into the show.
It was a case of extra water, as well as more shade to pull her winning Neoreqelia - a bromeliad with striking foliage - through to the top position.
She was the only contender in the rose section, following a colder than usual season.
"The long cold snaps we have just seen affected the blooms. I am guessing everyone else's started flowering too soon.
"All of mine were budding beautifully two weeks ago, so I was lucky to get a few cuttings just in time for the show."
Best Biscuit
Liz McKerracher
A first time entrant in the biscuit competition, Liz McKerracher, a talented baker and the Country Women's Association secretary, said she was more than surprised to find she had placed in the top position.
More accustomed to baking scones and chocolate cakes she thought she would try something different - a cardamom and moretti biscuits.
Up against melting moments, and chocolate chip cookies, she said it was the more obscure flavours, which pulled her through.
"I think the judges were a bit surprised to find something a bit more unusual and that was my point of difference," she said.
International Cake
Sandra Nelson
Bringing some personal culture to the Katherine Show, MLA Sandra Nelson came third with her Portuguese hazelnut cake.
"It is a very typical traditional Portuguese cake," Ms Nelson said today.
"I really wanted to bring some of my own culture into the show."
The first time entrant, with more time on her hands this year, she said, also entered Timorese inspired relishes and chutneys.
Champion Bird
Ian Young
Raising a champion is no easy feat, but Ian Young must have the magic touch.
The keen breeder took out titles in more than a few of the bird sections at the show this year, including the champion bird and the champion waterfowl.
All born and bred in Katherine, he said his winning birds all had a few things in common; good breed characteristics and lovely temperaments.
Mr Young enters his prized possessions each year and is hard pressed to be beaten.
Chocolate Cake Title
Rowena McCosker
All it took was a change of recipe to turn a long-standing losing streak right around.
Rowena McCosker has entered a chocolate cake every year for the past five - with the same recipe.
She never placed.
Fed up, she decided to try something different in a bid to finally take out the title.
Her efforts proved fruitful as she wandered into the cooking pavilion this morning only to find the telling blue card placed carefully by her cake.
It was a case of more chocolate, to create a rich texture, which must have had the judges on her side.
"The win has really spurred me on to mix things up in the future, although I'll be sticking to this cake recipe from now on."
Sewing Champions
Mandy Tootell, Flynn Tootell and Liam Tootell
It was a family of firsts in the sewing pavilion at the Katherine Show as Mandy Tootell, Flynn Tootell and Liam Tootell took home winning titles in their section.
Mandy Tootell won the Champion Needlework prize for her woven hat which was made from baling twine wrapped with yarn.
And Flynn Tootell and Liam Tootell also won firsts for their sewing entries.
Entry Wins
Rebecca Moore and Sophie Moore
Excitement was high for Rebecca Moore and Sophie Moore with entry wins at the show.
Sophie was so excited to get third in her veggie sculpture as shes only eight and was up against under 12 year-olds.
- Rebecca Moore
"I was excited to see I placed second in the shelia's cake competition with my moist chocolate cake," Rebecca Moore said.
It was her second time entering the competition and a step up from no place at all, last year.
