The wide spread fire has blackened yards of green grass and taken hold of a large pile of wood behind the golf club.
It has come dangerously close to the high wire fence, and buildings, but community effort is holding it back.
Tradies were seen hosing the dead grass lining the fence, and another person was seen swatting at flames with a branch of leaves.
Two firefighting crews are circling the flames with high pressure hoses, in an attempt to keep the fire at bay.
Temperatures have already reached 41 degrees today and the hot and windy conditions are the perfect brew for a fire.
It remains unclear how the fire started.
A spokeswoman from Police, Fire and Emergency Services will provide further updates shortly.
But said, "at this time it is a grass fire and there is no threat to property."
