Australia's most successful rope jumper Luke Boon bounded into the school with world class tricks to teach.
A current world record holder and 28 x World Champion in the sport, Boon has coached world class athletes and impressed celebrity judges and audiences all over the country with his performance on this year's Australia's Got Talent.
But Skipping in Katherine is a different challenge altogether.
Despite scorching temperatures amid a record breaking month, the young world champion had students mastering the art of jump rope.
"The jump rope is the best fitness tool on the planet" Mr Boon said.
"Like everything else you do in life, it's powered by you."
Skipping is a fantastic sport. It builds strength, endurance and coordination and allows participants to be creative and have fun.

Clyde Fenton Principal Jeff Parker said the visit had the possibility of inspiring students to think out side the box for their futures.
"It is a great sport, because all you need is a rope.
"But it is something different for the kids. It is inspirational [Luke Boon] has made a career out of something people wouldn't usually think about.
"Skipping is an alternative to rugby and footy which is so popular in this town - so it's giving kids options."
Students from multiple classes joined Mr Boon for interactive skipping workshops today.
Organised by health and physical education teacher Amy Buick, the program is aiming to grow participation and skills in the sport of skipping throughout the Territory.
"I am so impressed by how quickly our students have improved their skipping skills." she said.
"They have loved learning new tricks and rope jumping is definitely an activity that we are keen to do more of in the future."
