A 29-year-old female Chilean woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash last Friday south of Katherine.

A spate of fatal road accidents has prompted police to warn drivers to take extra care with Christmas holidays approaching.
The woman's vehicle crashed into a tree about 50km south of Katherine at around 10am on Friday.
The woman was transported by Careflight to Royal Darwin Hospital but died yesterday.
Her family was with her when she died.
The 2019 Northern Territory road toll now stands at 30 compared to 47 this time last year.
