The Triple Crown will now be on August 15-16 instead of this weekend as planned.
The race weekend has been rescheduled due to changes around COVID-19 hotspots.
None of the Supercars crews were in Queensland hotspots when restrictions were imposed at the end of last month but it has since been confirmed a limited number of crew members had been in those locations in the 14 days prior to that.
As a result, those crew members will now enter mandatory quarantine upon their arrival in the Territory.
As an added precaution, Supercars crews have been undergoing regular COVID-19 testing for some weeks, with no positive results returned.
They will continue to undergo testing once they arrive in the Territory.
Anyone with a general admission ticket for August 8-9 can change their ticket to the August 15-16 event.
Anyone who can no longer attend can request a refund via Ticketek.
As previously confirmed, the Transporter Convoy planned for tomorrow can no longer go ahead due to delays with the Transporters arriving.
The transports have been held up at the Qld/NT border while negotiations continued over entry into the Territory.
