The developer plans to build 16 multiple bedroom dwellings in three two storey buildings in Rundle Street, adjacent to the Victoria Highway and opposite the showgrounds.
Most are three bedrooms.
Public feedback on the plans through the NT Government's online planning portal close on December 2.
The proposal by Rundle Developments WA.
"All contain open plan living/kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities," planning documents state.
"Each unit has an undercover carpark for two tenant vehicles and a visitor space.
"Grounds to each unit will be graded to allow stormwater runoff to be collected and piped into the town's stormwater system.
"Tasteful landscaping will also be provided as a screen to break up the expanse of fencing to the Victoria Highway and the elevation view from Rundle Street.
"The units have been designed using modern styling to complement the existing developments in the area and add to the ambience of the town in general."
They also state: "With the expansion of Tindal and general population growth, the development aims to meet the needs of an ever-increasing population as well as providing a boost for local suppliers and construction workers in the short term."
