Artists from the remote town of Lajamanu, 580 kilometres south west of Katherine, made the trip to see their collection on display in the main Lambert Gallery.
In the K Space, artists from Equalitea, the social enterprise arm of not-for-profit organisation NT Friendship and Support, had their Bottles of Lights on display.
Collected, cleaned, painted and filled with lights, the artists behind the idea have found an ingenious way to turn a coin while saving the planet.
The project was launched in 2020 to empower young adults with disability to build their employment skills and express their creativity, and has taken off in the short time since inception.
