A 19-year-old US Marine who arrived as part of the Marine Rotational Force - Darwin on April 12 has tested positive for COVID-19.
He is asymptomatic and is under the care of the AUSMAT team at the Centre for National Resilience.
Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began in October last year, 6668 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.

The total number of positive cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is now 166, with 122 of those reported from international repatriation.
This is an increase of 16 cases in the last five days and 11 of those are from international repatriation.
All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.
The news follows the 13 cases reported last week of infected returned overseas travellers on recent flights from India who are also in quarantine at the Howards Springs Centre.
An India flight travel ban started on April 27 and stops direct passenger flights between India and Australia for more than two weeks. Considerations for further flights will be made by May 15.
The ban directly impacts two passenger services from India into Sydney and two repatriation flights from India to Darwin.
Foreign Minister Marise Payne has confirmed eight repatriation flights from India planned for May are now paused.
All returning Australians on Commonwealth facilitated flights into the Northern Territory are required to undertake 14 days of mandatory supervised quarantine at the Centre of National Resilience at Howards Springs.
