Additionally, all Chief Health Officer Directions relating to Victorian public exposure sites, remain in effect.
Anyone who has arrived in the Northern Territory from Victoria since 5 May 2021 is asked to review the Victorian public exposure sites.
The public exposure sites have expanded since yesterday, and can be found at: https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites#public-exposure-sites-in-victoria.
If a venue is added or a tier is upgraded, impacted people are required to identify themselves to Northern Territory health authorities, and follow the relevant directions.
In addition to this, the Chief Health Officer has revoked testing directions for Western Australia and Queensland.
RETHINK YOUR TRAVEL PLANS
The Chief Health Officer will continue to review and assess the COVID-19 situation across Australia.
All people travelling to the Northern Territory are required to complete an online border entry form upon arrival and wear a face mask at the airport and on board the aircraft.
If you are intending to travel to the Northern Territory from a COVID-19 hotspot or public exposure site you are advised to rethink your plans. If you are a Territorian intending to travel to a hotspot you are advised to rethink your plans.
STAY INFORMED
The Chief Health Officer has urged Territorians not to become complacent as the COVID-19 situation can change quickly. Personal behaviour including practising high levels of hygiene and physical distancing remain our best defence against COVID-19.
