Anyone travelling to the Northern Territory, who has been to the Mildura Rural City Council LGA in Victoria since July 12 and arrives in the Northern Territory after 4pm on July 19, will be required to undertake 14 days of mandatory supervised quarantine.
It comes after a man in his 30s from Mildura tested positive on the weekend after going to the MCG to watch an AFL game.
A close contact of the man has also tested positive, becoming the border town's first recorded cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
