The town has been plunged into lockdown - and at short notice - for at least 72 hours after a man, who has since tested positive to the virus, travelled to the town for work.
We've been covering the unfolding news today - with more updates already flagged for early tomorrow morning.
If you've been busy picking up the kids early from school, or doing a dash to the supermarket (there has been some panic buying and the big supermarkets have put limits on items) then here's the wrap of what you might have missed.
So far there are two sites in Katherine - the Oasis and the Knotts Crossing Resort - which are exposure sites. We'll be updating the above file with new sites when - or if - they are released. There are more in Darwin and you'll find them in that story as well.
