Council service operations have been amended as follows:
- Civic Centre is opened to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Public Library is open to fully vaccinated residents, the Library will open at 10am on Tuesday 30 November 2021
- Katherine Visitor Information Centre (KVIC) is opened to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Aquatic Centre is open to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Sportsgrounds is open to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Showgrounds is open to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Hot Springs is open to fully vaccinated residents
- Adventure Play Park is open to fully vaccinated residents
- Katherine Waste Management Facility (WMF) is: Opened to fully vaccinated residents, Opened to non-vaccinated residents who do not receive a kerbside collection, Open to Essential Service Contractors, Will be closing the gates to the facility 10 minutes earlier each day to allow Operator's time to mauver the tip-face and disposal bins, Gates will close 5:20pm Monday - Friday and at 3:50pm Saturday - Sunday.
"Katherine Town Council will be enforcing and complying with the CHO Directions (106) regarding the COVID-safe protocols being implemented during the lockout," Council said in a statement.

"When entering a Council facility, staff will request patrons to check-in and provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status. Non-compliant patrons will not be authorised entry into our facilities and will be asked to remove themselves from the premises."
Mayor Lis Clark thanked the community for their support and cooperation throughout the lockdown.
"Everyone has has stuck by the rules," she said.
"I think everyone is very pleased to be in the lockout, not locked down. This morning there was just so much traffic on the road, so everyone was hanging out for it."
