Jawoyn Traditional Owners and the Katherine community will come together in celebration of the lodge's reopening at a special launch event on Thursday night.
The lodge, which is an asset of the Indigenous owned and operated Nitmiluk Tours, was forced to shut because of COVID-19 travel restrictions and subsequent workforce shortages.
Jawoyn Association Aboriginal Corporation and Nitmiluk Tours Chairperson Lisa Mumbin said she was thrilled about the reopening after two years of uncertainty.

"After a long shutdown period, Friday marks a fresh start for Cicada Lodge and we are so proud to be able to share this opportunity with the Katherine community," she said.
"We've made some necessary upgrades to the restaurant and all 18 rooms, including updating the furniture and furnishings to give the lodge a fresh, new feel ready for an amazing 2022".
Cicada Lodge restaurant will reopen from April 1, with tables to be set aside for reservations by Katherine locals.
Ms Mumbin said it was important for the organisation to share the experience of the lodge not just with tourists, but with locals.
"Our vision has always been to share country, to create an authentic, unforgettable experience for tourists and a place we can proudly celebrate together, with the people of Katherine," she said.
Nitmiluk Tours' new Chief Executive Officer Sveva Falletto said she was excited to start welcoming visitors back to the lodge.
"Cicada Lodge is a special place for Katherine. It offers a unique experience on Jawoyn Country, in the heart of Nitmiluk National Park, and we can't wait to be able to be able to offer our award winning experiences again in 2022," she said.
