Jesus loves nachos supporter, Alderman Toni Tapp-Coutts told council the Katherine Railway Bridge was only second behind the Sydney Harbor Bridge for fame.
Alderman Tapp-Coutts was responding to suggestions the heritage-listed railway bridge should be repainted and the “Jesus loves nachos” graffiti should be concealed.

Alderman Jon Raynor said the bridge was under the control of the NT Government, and not council, and would decide its future.
Alderman Tapp-Coutts presented each councillor with a tea towel emblazoned with the “Jesus loves nachos” slogan.
