Katherine pair Tanisha Garling and Nicole Simons are both playing senior AFL action this weekend.
Both have played more than 100 senior games of AFL after taking the long journey to Darwin each weekend.
The pair play with the Palmerston Magpies who are taking on Tracey Village on Saturday in round two of the elimination finals (third versus fourth).
They will against a fellow Katherine player in Melissa McCartney who plays for Tracey Village.
It is a familiar trip up the Stuart Highway for Katherine teachers Kiera Lansdown, Samantha Clarke and Alexandra Biggs who all play for the Nightcliff Tigers.
