The festival falls right in the middle of NAIDOC week and by noon more than 200 people had gathered for the family fun events.
In addition to sport, food, kids games and art and craft, stalls were set up to promote services to the community.
Kalano Community Development Program manager Karyn Kalamaras said the turn out had been more than she could have hoped for.
“It has been great to see so many service providers come down to promote their work and how they help the community,” she said.
Ms Kalamaras said services from Darwin had also made the trip to set up stalls.
