There was a tricky rescue last night for a woman who was injured in a fall at the Umbrawarra Gorge at Pine Creek.
St John Ambulance paramedics from Katherine went to Pine Creek late last night where the 55-year-old had sustained a leg injury.
The woman fell on rough terrain, about 1km from the car park.
Pine Creek Clinic staff also provided first aid and CareFlight NT flew to Pine Creek to transport the woman to Darwin for treatment..
