Despite the cold dry season weather and the tough market, the quality selection of bulls have begun to be auctioned off at quick succession.
Bred by well-known NT families, the bulls are on average sold for $3800.
Last year, the top priced bull was sold for $8000.
Fast talking stud stock specialist and auctioneer, Peter Brazier, was once again leading the sales.
An auctioneer for more than 30 years, he said he was proud to have been a part of the well-known Katherine sale since its inception 20 years ago.
The sale includes Brahman bulls from:
Paul & Debbie Herrod, Ponderosa Stud, Katherine
Andrew & Roxanne Olive, Raglan Stud, Raglan
Ross & Natalie Olive, Olive Stud, Gogango
A.J. & Pam Davison, Viva Stud, Middlemount
